We use the half hour data supplied by our energy supplier to create graphs and tables. These are analysed to find times of peak and off peak use age. From this we look at ways of reducing our energy consumption there by reducing our carbon foot print. This also has an advantage of reducing our bills. The pupils find the graphs easier to use as this is visual and easier to compare between days. Patterns of use are evident which it is possible to relate to the way in which energy is consumed. E.g. Computers being switched on and off at the beginning and end of the day, excess use age by equipment left on over night or over the weekend.
