The Eco Team was set up in May 2007 to look at ways to reduce our carbon footprint, to raise awareness of local, national and international environmental issues and to encourage students and staff to ‘go green’ and Reduce, Reuse, Re-cycle

Our ‘Eco Worriers’ team consists of several members of staff and students across all years groups and out motto is “small steps…….BIG CHANGES”. The students decided on the name of the group, our logo and our motto. The group meets in their own time after school on a regular basis

In order to guide us on our journey to create a more sustainable environment we joined the Eco-schools programme which provided us with a programme to address the following environment themes:
