White shirt
Black tailored trousers (No denim, leggings or jeans)
Black skirt (No denim, lycra - appropriate length for school)
Plain black shoes (No trainers, boots or sports shoes with logos etc)
Black or white socks
Available from a source of your choice
Royal blue school tie striped with house colour (Students purchasing the new uniform for September 2011 will receive their school tie free of charge)

Upper School (Years 10 and 11):   Black V-neck jumper with school logo
Lower School (Years 7, 8 & 9):   Royal blue V-neck jumper with school logo
Available through school only

P.E. Kit

Trainers (appropriate for PE and different to school shoes)
Available from a source of your choice
Black games shorts with white piping
Girls’ fit games polo shirt – royal blue
Boys’ fit games polo shirt – royal blue
Black tracksuit trousers (optional)
Reversible outdoor games jersey (optional)
Available through school only

Hair & Equipment

  • Haircuts must be sensible with no tramlines or motifs
  • A Number 2 is the shortest acceptable length
  • Extensions and beads are not to be worn in hair
  • Partially shaved heads are not allowed
  • Extreme, unnatural hair colours are not appropriate for school
  • Hair accessories such as clips, slides or hair-bands must be of very simple design and discreet. No flowers, jewelled accessories permitted
  • Headscarves for religious reasons – these must be plain black and not embroidered, fringed or embellished with beads etc. They must be neatly tied and tucked into the shirt collar so that uniform is fully visible
  • Any girls choosing to wear a kameez will have to wear black school trousers (not grey). The kameez or tunic will also need to be black and must not be visible under the v-neck of the school jumper. Shirt and tie must be visible at all times
  • All students are expected to have a school bag that is appropriate for carrying books, equipment and PE kit.
The following are NOT allowed in school

  • Jewellery – apart from a wristwatch
  • Make-up, nail varnish & acrylic nails
  • Baseball caps
  • Personal stereos, MP3 players & mobile phones
  • Non-uniform sweatshirts / jumpers
  • Fashion scarves
  • Tattoos & piercings
