Learning Mentor Programme

 

The Learning Mentor offers a complimentary service in school to help students overcome barriers to learning that may prevent them from achieving their full potential.

Students who could benefit from the Learning Mentor programme:

  • Poor attendance/punctuality
  • Young carers
  • Risk of Exclusion
  • Truants
  • Homework/ coursework difficulties
  • Looked after children
  • Underachievers
  • Lack of motivation
  • Bereavement or family separation
  • Behaviour problems
  • Low self esteem
