GCSE Information

 

An option subject in years 10/11. This course is 50% practical and 50% theory.

 

The practical element of the course involves pupils studying a minimum of 4 activities with each area assessed out of 25 based on their knowledge, skills and understanding of each activity.

 

The theory is split up into 30% exam and 20% project. The project is an analytical investigation (AI) based on an area of sport. Currently the AI is a diary style log book recording the pupil's improvement in their chosen activity.
